Summary : Written for the Primeval100 challenge 492, Autumn Colours
A/N : Three years ago, challenge 334 was for the same prompt. I discovered after writing for this latest one, that I’d used the title Red and Gold before, so naturally I checked what it was, with this result! This time, I decided to reverse the title as I like the symmetry!
“Connor says it’ll close in the next couple of hours, ma’am,” Ryan said, ignoring the exasperated look she gave him at the formality “There’s no need for you to wait around as well.
“You stay, I stay,” she said, making Ryan wish he’s never uttered those now infamous words.
Finn sniggered and Ryan shot him a double-barrelled glare.
Claudia went over to her car and returned a moment later draped in a large, soft woollen shawl. The rich autumn colours looked good against her hair and Ryan couldn’t stop himself smiling.
He’d bought her that shawl for their first anniversary.
