Ryan wore his scars like a badge of honour. He’d fought his way back to fitness and to the anomaly project.
For Stephen, his scars were the mark of shame. He trusted the wrong person, and the scars on his body were forever a reminder of the choices he’d made.
The scar on Lester’s chest was a reminder of the day he’d been hunted by a living nightmare from the future.
Lorraine’s scar was invisible, but no less real. She’d watched a man being torn to pieces.
Connor had watched a friend die. He understood invisible scars better than anyone.
