“Look on the bright side,” Matt commented. “At least there’s no need to play cover-up bingo any more.”

“You’re booked to appear on BBC Breakfast tomorrow, Mr Anderson,” Lester said, consulting his notes. “Ms Merchant will provide moral support. According to Twitter, they’re looking forward to talking to you.”

Matt’s smile promptly faded.

“And just to prove we’re not biased towards the BBC, Mr Temple and Ms Maitland will be appearing on Good Morning Britain on Thursday.”

Just as Becker was starting to relax. Lester consulted his notes again. “You’re appearing on Friday night in The Last Leg, Captain Becker.”
