“He’s stinking rich, the PM and the Minister think he’s the dog’s bollocks and, unfortunately, there are no obvious skeletons rattling in his cupboard, not even from his university days.”

“Dig deeper, Becker. No one’s that squeaky clean.”

“Not even you?”

“Not even me, as you know all too well. If we’re going to end up with some ghastly public-private partnership foisted on us, I want to know who we’re getting in bed with and what their agenda is.”

“And you want enough leverage to get them out of the bed if necessary.”

I do like Becker and Lester working together!
Lester the obviously manipulative one, and baby-faced Becker who can sneak up behind the bad guys without them having the slightest suspicion.

Oh dear. It didn't quite work out that well. Although I think using the anomalies to generate clean electricity is a good idea if you ignore the creatures coming out and eating the power workers every so often.

LOL, it's a fairly obvious idea. There were abouple of times where the s4/5 writers veered towards dumbing Lester down.
