The woman looked hot, but was still calm and collected.
The man dashed his hair out of eyes with the same quick, nervous gesture he’d been using for the past half-hour. Jenny itched to give him some advice. Get your hair cut would do for a start.
“Name the last of the three Mesozoic eras…”
The man hesitated, shoving his hair back yet again.
The woman slammed her hand hard on the buzzer.
“The Cretaceous!”
Jenny reached for her glass of wine, a smile on her face. With Nick still at work, she was free to indulge her guilty pleasures.
