“At least it’s alliterative,” Jenny commented.
“Look on the bright side, at least it’s post-Convergence.” Connor said, chirpily.
“There are times when I long for the good old cloak and dagger days, Mr Temple. At least then I didn’t have to make up quotes for the world’s media.”
“You don’t now,” Jenny muttered. “Matt’s due on BBC Points West in two hours. A mini tornado and an anomaly are the biggest things to have happened in West Harptree.”
“Go for the hat-trick. Tell him to crack a smile.”
