“Not if I get to the little bastards first.” Abby’s voice was low, controlled and very, very angry.

Connor had picked up a police report of an animal being tormented with fireworks in the vicinity of the latest anomaly.

They’d put two and two together and had been right.

The young glyptodont was terrified.

By the time Abby and Stringer had finished, at least two of its tormentors had wet themselves.
