“I don’t get Easter,” Finn remarked, plonking his feet on the coffee table in the rec room. “For a start, why’s it called ‘good’ Friday? Some guy gets nailed to a cross. I mean what’s good about that?”
Connor shrugged. “Dunno. I tried asking that at school once and all I got was detention for taking the piss.”
“Were you?” Abby asked.
“Not really.”
“And where did the whole bunny thing come from?” Kermit looked equally as puzzled as Finn.
Blade shrugged. “No fucking idea, mate.”
“The chocolate’s good, though.” Fiver said, flattening another large Easter egg with his fist.

Then I found out that the original word "easter" comes from the pronunciation of "ishtar" who was a goddess of fertility, and whose symbols were rabbits and eggs.
Yep. Christianity swiped another pagan holiday...
