“I thought I said, ‘whatever you do, don’t let that bloody creature into the shopping centre’?” Becker said, carefully smoothing a stray hair back into place.

Finn shuffled his feet and stared anywhere but at the broken crockery spread all over the floor.

“Abby said not to shoot it, boss. It’s only veggie.”

“It’s only veggie with bloody great big horns and hooves.”

“That’s still veggie, Becker,” Abby said firmly, her boots crunching on the china.

“You can explain this one to Lester.”

The large auroch in the corner let out a mournful bellow and blew snot all over Kermit.
