“Who the buggering hell did we upset to draw the fucking short straw?” Lyle stared down from a sniper post overlooking Trafalgar Square and wondered how many drunken idiots he could take out with a three-second burst from his M4.

“You upset that ferret-faced harridan in the Welsh Office and I right-royally pissed off her sheep-shagging cunt of a husband. Next question?” Stringer looked bored, but his eyes still raked the crowd, just in case anything interesting kicked off.

“When can we kill someone and go home?”

“You can’t kill the fuckwits, remember. Basic training and all that crap.”

“Bollocks.”

A sniper's lot is not a happy one. If either of them want to take out trespassers on the main railway lines out of London, the collective commuters of London would declare them heroes!

I am so tempted by a longer story for this with the pair getting dumped with the Regent's Park Mob for a tour and getting very, very bored.

They would have a very brusque way with idiots.

I love the fact that the London sabre squadron and the armed police try to race each other to terrorist incidents. It's so blackly British.

So glad you like it! The idea was an absolute gift!

His potty mouth was one of the first things I knew about him when he strolled into a fic and made himself at home. The rest of the backstory gradually emerged from that.

OMG I don’t know where to start! I am a sucker for Stephan and Ryan having a lazy Sunday shag, but with your writing I’ve also fallen for Lester and Lyle’s relationship. Actually I love the whole team, you wrote one short story around the riots in London which I loved!!! You have such distinct characters, I keep wanting to hug Finn and Fiver and protect them from the world even though they’re obviously dangerously competent!

So, as much of the team as you can cram in and some lovely smut to keep me going...or am I being greedy now?

LOL, not in the least bit greedy! I;d call it down right inspirational.

Knowing what people like and want makes writing fun for me. I'll always be true to the characters but having help with ideas really makes a difference!

The riot one was very nice to write as I wanted a story where Finn was all soldiery, as no one gets in the SAS if they're really hopeless, so I wanted to show him being really good, as a counterpoint to the stick we dish out to the lad for being a bit hapless at times. I wondered if people would find the riot setting too close to home, but I do really like spinning real world stuff into the stories as that's inspirational, too.

Fiver was an interesting one for me, too, and he got his chance to shine in Fight Night.

I don't write as much smut as I used to, but am always happy to oblige where I can!
