“She must have access to a bank account,” commented Jenny.

“She’s been in the past for eight years,” countered Stephen.

“That doesn’t mean she hasn’t got a bank account,” said Connor.

“Maybe she just robs washing lines for a hobby,” Abby muttered.

Stephen looked puzzled.

Abby considered slapping him.

Connor shot the other man a sympathetic glance. “Come on, mate, even I understand that one. You don’t find a bra like hers just lying around, that’s for sure.”

“Do they have Marks & Spenser in the Permian?” asked Stephen.

“No, and they don’t have Rigby and Peller, either,” said Jenny.
