Becker looked up, expecting to see more than a hint of mockery in Danny’s eyes.

Becker knew perfectly well the security team were running a book on which way he swung, so the civilians joining in wouldn’t be much of a surprise.

“Trying to win a bet, Danny boy?”

“Nope, I’m trying to chat you up.”

“Your technique sucks frogs.”

Danny gave him a deliberately salacious look. “It’s not frogs I’m hoping to suck.”

“Do you kiss and tell?”

“Not one of my sins, sweetheart.”

Becker grinned. “OK, you’re on. Just don’t call me sweetheart.”

“Yes, darling.”
