“I’m totally bloody stuffed!” Lyle collapsed theatrically onto a sofa in the break room.

“Shame you won’t have room for Christmas pudding,” Claudia commented.

“Got a different stomach for pud.”

Finn looked hopefully at Claudia’s plate. “Finished, ma’am?”

“All yours.”

The leftovers promptly disappeared.

“So, what won the vote for best Christmas film?”

“Tie between King Kong and Jason and the Argonauts,” Kermit supplied.

“No contest!” The chorus was instant.

For once the soldiers and the science team were in complete agreement

“Bronze Age myth beats over-sized gorilla?” Cutter looked amused,

“Too right!” Lyle declared. “Stick the DVD in, prof.”
