“I need to splint the leg. I think it might be broken.”
“Abby, is that a good idea?”
“What else do you suggest, Stephen? Shooting it?”
“We’ve got to be practical.”
“I am being practical. The creature has a broken leg. I’m going to splint it before we move him.”
“You’ve watched Jurassic Park too often.”
“I’ve lived with Connor for ages. Of course, I have.”
Stephen unrolled the neoprene splints and started wrapping the leg. “You’d better hope we can get him back to the Cretaceous quickly, before we have to tell Lester we’ve adopted a baby T. rex.”
