“Thranduil states that Dol Guldur’s shadow stretches further with every season,” Gandalf commented.
“We need proof, not scaremongering,” Saruman scoffed.
“The Elven-King is not prone to scaremongering.”
“The wood is dark, and my friends flee,” Radagast said quietly.
“Your friends are rabbits and songbirds. Forgive me if I do not find their testimony credible”
“We are going over the same old ground to no avail. Summon the Council,” Gandalf urged. “I would hear from both Imladris and the Golden Wood.”
“You are hasty. It was ever your failing, old friend.”
“Then let us hasten, before all haste is in vain!”
