Ryan had an inherent distrust of any landscape younger than him, and despite being millions of years in the past, everything here felt way too recent for comfort, so he didn’t particularly want to hang about, thank you very much.

He’d make his peace with Cutter once they got back to the Forest of Dean.

Hopefully the guy wouldn’t bear a grudge.
