“Christmas shopping.”
“Can’t you use Amazon, like normal people?” Before Stephen had chance to launch into his usual rant about the evils of rampant commercialism, Lester hastily added, “That was a rhetorical question.”
“The Secret Santa’s tonight, and I drew Cutter again.”
“Claudia rigged it again. So, what have you got the Eccentric Academic this time?”
Stephen grinned. “You’ve heard of the Elf on a Shelf? Cutter’s getting a Lemur on a Femur. I had the femur. I just needed the lemur.”
Lester sighed. “I suppose I did ask.”
