primeval100 challenge 815, Snowball Fight
“Definitely hominins,” Stephen said. “Maybe Australopithecines. No tracks in the snow, so none of them have come through yet.”
“Can we use warning shots?” Ryan asked.
Nick glared. “No. Find another way,”
A snowball flew past Nick’s ear and sent a small figure scurrying back to its own time.
“That do?” Connor asked.
Ten minutes later, a hairy arm reached through the anomaly, grabbed a handful of snow and hurled it back.
“Quick learners,” Abby said approvingly.
A snowball promptly caught Nick full in the face.
“Little wee buggers!” he spluttered.
“Nice one!” Connor declared. “My money’s on the ancestors!”
