“Polar bear cubs dancing on ice on the Serpentine!” Connor declared as the response team entered the command centre at a run. “I’ve called in the chopper for you. Roads impassable due to snow.”
The Tick Toc video going viral online showed two white fluff balls expertly sliding over the thick ice while an anomaly glittered on the frozen lake, casting fractured light on the thick snow.
Jenny smiled. “I do like the easy ones.”
“Animatronic performance art?” Abby hazarded.
“Unless the zoo is missing a couple of residents, yes.”
Lester clapped his hands loudly. “Get your skates on, people!”
