primeval100 challenge 828, “Fancy a pint?”
A/N : I spent longer researching this than I did writing the drabble!
Stephen tightened the band, swabbed his skin and offered his arm to Blade for the needle.
A sharp prick then blood ran into the collection bag while Ditzy finished suturing the casualty’s torn artery.
The raptor’s teenage victim was already white with shock.
“Stay with us, mate,” the medic urged.
“They’ve done this before,” Connor cheerfully announced. “Worked for me.”
Stephen grinned down at the lad. “Fancy a pint? Looks like it’s my round again.”
“Yeah, but don’t tell me mam…” came the murmured reply. “Not 18 yet.”
“Do us all a favour, don’t tell her about the dinosaurs, either.”
