“No, I wasn’t,” Lester mouthed.

When Lorraine finally disengaged from the cheerfully garrulous widow, Lester declared loudly, “He was a disgusting old lecher who pinched my arse last time we met.”

“I can hardly relay that to his nearest and dearest!”

“She’d agree with you, if you did.”

“Don’t change the subject. The funeral is next Tuesday at 2pm. You’re going.”

“Only if I can give the eulogy.”

“Only if I can edit it first…”
