After a month away, Ryan kissed the same way he fought: hard and dirty.
His mouth laid claim to Stephen’s lips in a way that made his lover’s stomach execute a series of perfectly timed back-flips. If they’d been anywhere other than Stephen’s flat, a charge of outraging public decency would have been a very real possibility.
Ryan kissed like he was trying to climb inside him. Stephen closed his eyes, revelling in the rough caress of the soldier’s lips. He was happy just to relax at last and let himself be devoured. Ryan was alive, and he was back.
