“What delights do we have to look forward today?” Lester demanded.
“Anomaly in the Forest of Dean – again,” Connor said, sounding bored. “Ryan’s lads failed to retrieve half a dozen wild boar that legged it through after a juvenile baronyx before it closed.”
“So now we have a feral colony of wild boar in the Cretaceous. Splendid.”
“Not for long,” Abby muttered.
“Even better. Anything else?”
“A salmon farm complaining about a pod of ichthyosaurs in Scalloway.”
“We don’t have a big enough tank. Tell them they can turn the damn things into a tourist attraction for all I care.”
