Her hands on either side of his face, directing, controlling. Tongue slipping into his mouth, teasing.

Her breasts brushing his chest with a promise of warmth.

She had eyes that challenged, a mouth that taunted, a mind that would not be contained.

Nick tried to slide his arms round his wife’s waist, wanting to hold her close.

She dropped her arms, breaking his hold, while her lips lingered a moment longer, still claiming him for her own.

Then she stepped away into darkness, laughter in her face, blowing him a kiss that was lost in the cold wind of evening.
