“It’s a plesiosaur, they all look like they’re smiling,” Cutter said, in the weary tones of an academic who infinitely preferred fossils to students. “And put that damned phone away for five minutes.”
“I don’t mean that one,” Connor responded, an edge of indignation creeping in. “I’m not a total idiot, Professor.”
“Debatable,” Cutter muttered. “Will you concentrate for five bloody minutes?”
“You’re going to want to see this, professor, I promise, there’s a whole pod of them, smiling like dolphins!” Cutter’s head whipped around as Connor added, “Get me a photo, Abs, tell ‘em to say cheese!”
