“We haven’t got a holding tank big enough for anything like that,” Becker commented, grabbing his Mossberg off the rack.

Abby looked puzzled; she’d been in the shower when the shout had gone up and had run to kit up still rubbing her hair into damp spikes with a towel.

She followed Becker into the command centre for the pre-ops briefing as he called, “Get some water containers on standby, Jess.”

Connor rolled his eyes. “I meant Wales, soldier boy!”

“I know, I heard you the first time!”

Connor waved his hand at the map on the ADD screens. “Really?”
