“Tea?” Without waiting for an answer, Becker plonked a chipped mug down on the desk in front of Christine Johnson’s latest henchmen.
Wilder nodded, staring at the pile of files open on his desk. “Thanks.”
Becker sprawled out in the chair opposite him and crossed his legs. “She’s as mad as goat, you do know that, don’t you, Joe?”
Wilder rolled his eyes. “Of course I know that, but I’m military, she’s military and some of the Head Shed are backing her. You tell me what my choices are…”
Becker shrugged. “You’ll know when the time comes. We usually do.”
