Matt Rees rolled his eyes, pulled the tab off the can and took a long swig. “They’re just good friends.”

“Where’s the romance in your heart?” Finn sounded positively aggrieved. And thoroughly pissed.

“They’re not even the same bloody species!”

“So? The Prof’s writing summat on those gay T-rexes we saw last month.”

“There’s something missing from your logic here, mate.”

“There’s always something missing from his logic,” Blade muttered.

On the screen, Sid turned his hopeful eyes to Diego and the smilodon’s expression softened.

“See! Soulmates, innit!” Finn yelled triumphantly.
