The flame of the world writhed in his mind, burning ever hotter.
The kindling of fire was dear to him and when the time came for him to wear a form again he became dark and terrible in homage to his long ago master and the song he sung was once again the impossible harmony of discord.
The light in his eyes drew others like moths to a pitiless flame and they became his servants, bound with rings forged in fire.
The flame of the world burned in his heart and he sought ever to shape it to his will.
