Connor stared at the footage from the drone camera. “We’ve got a climber dangling over a 40 metre overhanging drop. The rope ends two metres below him. I’ve got residual magnetic readings but no anomaly.”
“I’ll get a safety rope down,” Stephen said. “We can use the winch to get him up.”
“Told you she’d come in useful!” Connor caressed the drone controls lovingly.
“Call 999 and ask for cliff rescue!” the climber yelled helpfully.
“Just hang on, we’ll be with you in a minute, mate!”
“Not much else I can fucking do, is there?”
“Admire the view?” Ryan muttered.
