“Take your time, I’m in no rush!” The climber’s voice echoed up and down the gorge

“How come we got the sarcastic one?” Stephen asked, as he finished checking the belay and started to lower himself over the edge of the cliff.

“Just lucky,” Ryan said, his lips twitching into a grim.

“Incoming!” Connor declared, his eyes fixed on the footage from the drone cam. “Pterosaur of some sort.”

“That’s a fucking ugly seagull!” the climber yelled.

“Red-headed great green gulls!” Abby called. “Don’t worry, they’re harmless.”

“Pull the other one, it’s got bells on! You can hurry up now!”
