“Bunch of posh tossers,” Abby muttered, glaring at the four men with Eton accents, loud voices and no manners who’d monopolised the dartboard all evening.
Joel Stringer sauntered over to them. “Fancy a game, lads?” he asked in a voice that could have cut reinforced steel rather than just glass. “My friend Niall and I are in a betting mood and you’ve been flashing the cash tonight.”
“How much do you have in mind?”
Stringer shrugged. “Your call.”
One of them sniggered. “How does 10K sound?”
Blade took the proffered darts. “Let’s have some fun, shall we? Make it 20.”
