“Oh shit, we’ve got another one…” The duty ADD operator looked like a man who couldn’t get to clocking off time fast enough.
“Do we have a spare team I happen to have forgotten about?” Lester enquired.
“Nope.”
As the ADD homed in on the location, Lester’s pinched expression relaxed into one of amusement. “How splendid. Ms Wickes, please put in a call to Camilla Fritton. Ask her to deploy her feral Fourth Formers again along with the Upper Sixth to run interference with locals and journalists.”
“The usual rates?”
“And a bonus if they keep it off the internet.”
