“Way out of date.” Connor said, his voice laden with disgust. “He should have known better.”
Abby picked up another one and held it out for inspection.
“Absolutely not, she’s as mad as a box of frogs.”
The third one met a similar fate, waved away with a dismissive hand.
The fourth fared no better, although Connor did reluctantly admit the cover was good, which was more than he could say for the content, apparently.
Abby was already regretting the day she allowed Connor to introduce her goddaughter to dinosaurs. “Maybe we could get her a book about ponies instead?”
