Becker froze, staring at the filthy footprints on the formerly spotless atrium floor that led straight to Danny Quinn.
“Sorry, soldier boy. Shortcut through the loading bay.”
Becker’s glare would have stopped an allosaur in its tracks. “That’s a restricted zone for a good reason.”
Danny grinned. “Relax, mate, it’s only mammoth shit.”
Lester sauntered down the ramp, immaculate as ever, and surveyed the mess. “Mr Quinn, you’ve just trespassed on very dangerous territory.”
Danny blinked owlishly. “What’s that, guv?”
“My cleaning budget.”
“I’ll sort it, honest…”
“No, Quinn, you can’t have another go on the ride-on cleaner! Absolutely not.”
