Rome - Random Thoughts - Episode 2

Well, in no particular order :
1. Grondfic is right, Pullo is now cuddly, it's official.
2. Vorenus is now dark and angsty. That's official as well.
3. Attia is annoying and does not deserve Mark Anthony, who, strangely, remained in possession of his clothers for the entire episode, and did not appear naked, even in the bath, which was a huge disappointment.
4. Pullo's mrs is definitely annoying and most certainly should be eaten by bears.
5. Memo to Vorenus - Decomposing heads are not suitable ornaments for a bedroom. He will, in any event, almostl certainly get over the loss of previously annoying wife and probably irritating kids and will undoubtedly console himself with Pullo.
6. There were insufficient oiled slaves and no oiled bears. In fact no bears at all, which was also a disappointment.
7. Hopes Entangled_Now will soon have coffee break and write Vorunus/Pullo/Oil (and bear) Porn.
8. M. Anthony, in combination with any of the above wouldn't go amiss either!

Though if at any time in the episode Pullo wrestles an oiled bear (or indeed is oiled by a bear!) I must know, so I can gather friends and we can all watch it in awed silence!

3. Hopefully Cleopatra will soon steal Antony away from Atia. And will rip all his clothes off! ;-)

5. Yuck to the decomposing head. Although, as we've now seen, he will sooner or later find out the truth about his kids, and then there will be even more angst.
6. I think I may be missing something about the bears. Was there something about them in the last series? (it's been so long since it was on I can't remember)
7. Hmmm, Rome related porn. Hang on, wasn't ancient Rome essentially just a whole load of porn anyway? ;-)
8. Okay, so my mind instantly went to a very filthy place during that scene between Antony and Vorenus *climbs back out of the gutter*

Date: 2007-06-25 07:11 pm (UTC)6. No, that was just Entangled_Now and I going off on a frolic of our own after deciding the wet Mrs P needed to be eaten by bears. I think the bear conversation went on through the original Rome post, and then divered sideways into a Primeval one by accident. I think it started with oiled slaves and then ended up with bears oiling epople, or something splendidly silly!
7. Yep! That's why we love it!!
8. Oooh yes, I got very filthy at that point and wanting to start yelling "kiss him, you know you want to!" at the screen, but husband might have thought I was being even weirder than usual at that point! *leaps happily back into gutter*

3. It's true Mark Antony never managed to get out of his clothes where we could see. Though he did manage to be homo-erotic with just about everyone in the episode, which probably makes up for it.

5. Lol, yes, a collection of slowly decomposing heads would be frowned upon in polite circles. I wouldn't go to a dinner party at his house, he'd probably make it a creepy centrepiece or something!
6. There was a significant lack of oiled slaves wasn't there, this was sad. There were some semi-nude slaves and some hustler slaves though. The lack of bears was sadder though.
7. At the moment it's a collection of pornographic lines...that sort of wants to be Anthony/Vorenus/Pullo (bears?) which is sort of worrying.
8. If he's not naked next week I shall feel very slighted, someone give him an excuse to be oiled quickly!
