The text books were right. A brachiosaurus really was bigger than a double-decker bus.

If it had been anywhere else, Ryan might have taken the time to be impressed.

The huge creature turned, swinging its tail. Any remaining bystanders scattered.

A scrape of metal across tarmac cut through the screaming like a hot knife through butter.

Ryan saw the threat a moment before Stephen did. “Car!” he yelled, tackling his lover to the ground, as a BMW flew overhead into the window of Harrods.

“Didn’t think they sold them,” breathed Stephen.

“They sell everything, darling,” murmured Ryan. “Well known fact.”
