As a woman in a largely male-dominated world, Jenny Lewis had long since come to terms with turning her looks to her advantage.

And if high heels, make up and short skirts helped at times, then that was fine.

She also spent time every day moisturising a skin, which, to be honest, tended towards dry. But her face was extremely sensitive, so why, oh why, had she let herself get into a situation which would no doubt lead to a nasty rash?

The tongue gently probing her mouth answered that question.

She’d just have to live with the stubble burn.
