Summary : Well, as I issued a “Fixit” challenge this entry, in comments, I thought it was only fair to rise to the challenge myself!
The estate agent smiled apologetically at his potential clients.
The large blond haired man, wearing dusty black combat gear, uprooted the For Sale sign, one-handed, and held it out with a glare.
The estate agent took it, gingerly, then yelped as a splinter dug into his palm.
“So sue me. Better still, complain to the Home Office. Now give me that phone. Connor? What the fuck is going on? Of course it’s me. Connor, why are you crying? Yes, I’m home, and someone has got some explaining to do!” The man’s voice softened. “Yes, love, I’m fine, honestly I am.”
