Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the most irritating of them all?
No prizes for guessing that one, sighed Jenny to herself, as she continued to repair the damage the day’s activities had done to her make-up.
There were times when she wondered if Nick Cutter had been awarded his Chair for his ability to irritate, rather than for his work in evolutionary zoology.
The wretched man contrived to be even more annoying than Lester, which wasn't easy.
The face that stared back at her out of the glass gave a slight smile.
Claudia Brown didn’t disagree with that sentiment.
